My aunt has truly been one of the most inspiring people to me, even if she is no longer with us. She lost her battle to breast cancer 5 years ago, but I will always remember her as a strong powerful woman not only through battling cancer- also in the work place and in life. She taught me what it meant to be a fighter and persevere even when times are tough.

No one knows I am a relatively shy person. Blogging has really brought me out of my shell and made me step out of my comfort zone. I’m still a bit awkward when I’m in a room full of people I don’t know.
